Hey guys! Connor here again! Now, I'm going to explain how I sketch ideas for Tailsonic projects in this short document, since the last one you probably read was pretty long.

I will sort them into small catergories.

#1. Characters
#2. Menus
#3. Zones
#4. Music
#5. Everything else

This is actually going to explain how I make most stuff, so, I'll just save this document and rename the file...

Alright. Let's get started.

#1. Characters

Characters are probably the easiest thing for me to do, but if you're an artist yourself, you might say some things might be sized differently, like the head always being too big, like most characters like Tailsonic, and I realized that by looking at my sketches closely. It's not perfect, but that's how I do it.

	Pixel Designs

Pixelated (16-bit) Designs... I don't really do much with pixelated things, mostly reskins, but I do make my own animations for them.

For pixel animation, I use Pixilart. Pixilart is an online program you can use to make anything you want, of course, out of pixels. [Well, yeah, mostly just art and animations]

For most sprites though, I use JSPaint. JSPaint is mostly the same as Pixilart, but it lacks the ability to make animations. So I only use that for sprites.

	Sketch Designs

For 3-D, or mostly flat but not pixelated designs, I, well, sketch drawings on a sheet of paper. I have a whole folder of Tailsonic sketches.

After that, I sometimes color them, but if I'd really want to color them, I'd use color pencil, since marker mostly ruins the pencil sketch. [Unless you trace it]

#2. Menus

I may or may not have mentioned this on my Instagram before. Well, I mentioned the menu, but did I mention the sketch? [Edit: Yes, I did.]

Anyway, I mostly start with a pencil sketch of what I want the menu to look like, and then work on it digitally with Sketchpad. [However, this has only been the case for the Avatar Creator menu as mentioned earlier.]

Sketchpad is what I use to make most sprites that contain text. It is another web program which can be found here. sketch.io/sketchpad [Though I most likely use V5.1]

#3. Zones

Most zones start with a music track, like Zen Hill [the in current-game version is Chill Zone] and Base Zone, but it was the opposite for Twist Tunnel Exit Zone, which I made the layout first on Classic Sonic Simulator (Roblox), and then made the music track.

#4. Music

As mentioned in the previous document, I most likely use references to make a track, but most of them are also original. Like Sky City, my most popular Tailsonic track as of writing this, with over 500 plays. [Might not seem like a lot, but to me it's a big deal]

#5. Everything else

Most likely, everything else is just done through pencil sketch, but I do still use Sketchpad often.

Welp, you've reached the end of the document. I hope you at least found this information interesting. If you'd like to learn more about Project Tailsonic or Tailsonic the Fox, visit my website here, [project-tailsonic.com] or email me. Until next time! See you at the start of next year!
